About

Hello!

Meet Tania

A single quote buried in the Old Testament best describes the heart of Tania’s work:

“Of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do."

At a significant point for the people of Israel, it was a small group of people who whom Israel looked for insight. (1 Chronicles 12:32)

Through her work, Tania seeks to help people see - and better understand - the times in which they live.  Seeing and understanding are key to helping people live and work together in ways that result in flourishing organisations and community.

Tania is an ordained minister with Churches of Christ WA, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Professional Ministry Supervisor (AAOS). Through her doctoral work (Alliance Theological Seminary NY, USA) and ongoing practice, Tania has developed a set of relational, organisational leadership frameworks.  These lie at the heart of her own leadership and speaking practice.

Tania currently works as Executive Minister at a large independent church in Western Australia.  From 2009-2019, Tania served as Executive Minister for Churches of Christ in WA, an association of 60+ churches. Tania has a broad range of experience serving on church and Christian NFP Boards.

Speaking to the dynamics of leadership

The centrepiece of Tania’s research is an exploration of the dynamic tensions that surround the practice of leadership in Australia.

Tania’s speaking engagements include events, seminars, retreats and conferences.  She also offers consulting engagements for boards and leadership teams of churches, and Christian organisations.
